SANITARIAN/SAFETY OFFICER TRIBAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT St. Ignatius The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Sanitary Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, or other Chemical/Biological or Physical Science. Possession of a valid registration as a Registered Sanitarian issued by the State of Montana or the ability to obtain within ONE year of employment. A Valid Driver’s License. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcript/degree, certifications, copy of valid driver’s license, if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION DURING THE SCREENING PROCESS. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy and subject to random drug testing. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period. Vehicle Mechanic Located in the Bitterroot Mountains, This is a year around position. This person must be able to perform maintenance and repair of rolling stock used daily. This includes light trucks, loaders, busses, ATV's, snow cats, hydraulics, diesel and gas engines, small engines, and vehicle electronics. Be reliable, responsible, and a self-starter. This is a year around position with a medical reimbursement benefit. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, be flexible, reliable, a team player and willing to work outdoors and in all weather conditions and locations outside, as we often have issues on hill or out on the Hiawatha Bike Trail 3 years experience as a mechanic preferred.
